The centre of San Teodoro
The town has ancient origins and offers the tourist many forms of entertainment. The town centre preserves its original features and looks very much like it did in the 1800s. The parish church, which has always been dedicated to San Teodoro, was built between 1950 and 1960. It rises up over the ruins of the 17th century building which old people can still remember. In Piazza Gallura, the hub of town life, you can admire an murale by the artist Luigi Castiglioni. Shop-lovers have a wide choice of craft and clothes shops and the well-known evening market, where artist and craftsmen display their work, including the painter Salvatore Spano. There are numerous pubs and open airvenues, as well as ice cream shop, pizzerie and restaurants.
